Color is all around us. Color is a sensation that we
experience with our brain through our eyes. It affects the way we feel,
behave, perceive and orient ourselves in a given space.

There are twelve basic colors. Each is equidistant from one another on
a simple and helpful tool called, the color wheel.
To begin, it is important to understand some basic color terminology:
- Hue = another word for
color
- Tint = any hue mixed
and lightened with white

and darkened with black
- Tone = any hue mixed
with grey
